Wednesday 3pm – Metro report: no buses in Cleckheaton

There are now no Arriva buses running in and out of Cleckheaton. The Metro website states at 3pm today: Arriva services 203, 209/219/229, 212, 220/222, 221, 253, 254/255/X25, 256, 262, 268 and 292 are suspended but will resume this afternoon http://www.wymetro.com/news/releases/101124.htm

Going, going, gone …. the Whitechapel Road bridge

All that is left of the Whitechapel Road bridge is part of the central pillar. All the rest of the bridge has been demolished. The project is going to plan. There are no further closures of the M62 planned until the new bridge is erected in a few months time.

Reminder: this weekend M62 closure

This weekend is the first of the M62 closures so that the Whitechapel Road bridge can be removed. Switch on for Halifax Road / Moorside traffic lights
