Full grit @ 18.00 pmNight patrols monitored throughout the night 

This morning Full grit @ 05.00 am of the Priority Routes 

Current Situation:All gritters are now returning to grit the secondary routes.  We will grit as many streets as we can while there is a break in the weather.  We may struggle gritting some roads due to parked cars.Town Centres:Town centres are being cleared by hand.We are working to get JCB’s & gritters to all Kirklees Car Parks (some are restricted by barriers) 

Road Closures:A635 Greenfield Road (leading to Oldham)A6024 Woodhead Road (leading to Derbyshire)A640 New Hey Road, Buckstones (leading to Oldham) 

Roads passable with care:A62 Manchester Road, Standedge / Marsden (leading to Oldham) The forecast is for the probability of more snow during the day.
