Cleckheaton Farmers’ Market is held on the first Saturday of every month. It is a growing success! Even more so this Spring as the Council are having a stall to hand out free seeds, which have been previously ordered, to encourage more of us to grow our own. There is also expert advice on hand and at the March Farmers’ Market a wonderful home made leek and potato soup.

The Farmers’ Market started about 5 years ago as one of our Lib Dem ideas to get some new market trade in the town. Rain or shine the traders and shoppers are there.
