This illustrates the appalling condition of parts of our road network. This is the junction of Whitcliffe Road and Grange Road in Cleckheaton.

The problem is that the Government has slashed funding for repair of roads. There was a report on Look North last week about the issue. The Government has provided the whole of Yorkshire with £4 million for pothole repairs when cost of tackling all road repairs in the County is nearer £400 million.
